And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul

Hello and welcome, I’m Marzena.

(pronounced maʒəna

Thank you for stopping by!

As an immigrant wanderer who embraces the bridge between different cultures and homes, and an avid listener of people’s stories, I truly believe that a moment of respite, movement, and some form of mindful creative outlet are a crucial part of life!

We all know the concept of to do lists all too well. I am inviting you to explore the idea of a to be list. Be curious about your body and the depths of your breath, explore nourishment, your habits, befriend nature and create a new sense of ease, allowing yourself to rest.

Embark on a journey into a room of your OM – get stronger, find the joy in movement, resetting and respecting the one and true home we will always have – our own Self.

My story

A curious student, reader, story teller, and huge food enthusiast, I genuinely love hearing people’s stories!

Never quite fitting in one box, I enjoy flowing in between yoga schools, cuisines, countries, and cultural attachments, fully accepting that we don’t fit within just one role and space.

I first experienced yoga as a child, being shown mudras (hand gestures) and having points pressed on my feet and hands by my best friend’s mum, a self-taught healer – a remarkable experience I did not fully understand until yoga found me again later in life.

Raised in a heavily industrialised area, but spending summer months close to nature at my grandmother’s, I would eat wild strawberries and tomatoes off the vines, run freely, camp in the orchard, watch animals and jump on haystacks – all of which deeply rooted me in nature where I instinctively always come back to rest.

Fast forward 15 years of working in a fast-moving corporate environment, in different senior positions, having gone through a divorce, traumatic death of a close one, and numerous ups and downs of living between two home countries, my yoga journey evolved as well.

I now practise and teach from a different place – a place of certain life experiences and understanding that at times it is difficult to be mindful and find our breath, and that is when we need it most. I am a strong believer in the power of movement and nourishment, after reversing my chronic illness with lifestyle and nutrition choice, which I see as being a part of my yoga journey.
